The Greater Bay Area Costumers Guild has withdrawn from the ICG.
CostumeCon 24 is set for May 26-28, 2006 in Des Moines, IA. You can find out more about the convention by visiting http://cc24.dmsfs.org/.
The ICG’s annual meeting is scheduled for Friday, May 26. Among the issues to be discussed and voted on are the proposed changes to the ICG’s Masquerade Guidelines. We urge everyone to read them over.
If you’re unable to attend the meeting at CC24, you can still make your thoughts known by filling out a proxy statement and handing it to someone who will be attending.
The ICG will begin taking nominations for the 2006 Lifetime Achievement Award on February 25, 2006. More information on the LAA and a gallery of past winners can be found on the Lifetime Achievement Awards page.
