There
are a number of server configuration records that Andy and Phil must
create/modify on the ICG web server (costume.org) to enable the email routing
of the Google Groups. We will announce very loudly when they launch.
In the meantime, the email component of the existing YahooGroup
will still function. Betsy has successfully archived all ICG yahoogroups and any associated files/media, and has placed
archival copies of that data up in the ICG’s Shared Drive space to ensure its
preservation.
When the google groups launch we can lock the yahoogroups
to further posts and do one final transfer of recent messages into those
archives.

minds would like to know. What is the status of the Policies and Procedures

I’ve been reaching out to those that were interested in being on the committee
to confirm with them and once I have confirmation I’ll post the appointees and
we will get to work.

Dear BoD reps,
Becky
Hermann, secretary of our newest chapter, Cosplay United, has been admitted to
the hospital and is expected to be there for awhile
after complications from a prolonged illness. Randy Smith, chapter
president, will be away from BoD business for awhile also to help care for her. Please join me
in sending them positive thoughts/prayers/etc. for Becky’s expeditious and full
recovery.
