You
know that's only supposed to go to chapter presidents, right? Not all reps are
also presidents and not everyone on the channel is president. You might want to
remove the files.

Yes, just realized lol. Forgot that BoD is
public

Ballot
sent.
Please
note: According to the received email message, the ballot was also sent to
Jacalyn, who is not an ICG chapter president.
The
LAA ballot should NOT be posted on the ICG Website. That information should
remain private. "Standing Rule 21 (D). The ICG President shall
prepare a secret ballot of proposed candidates and No Award and send it to all
chapter presidents and ICG officers. The voting deadline shall be 30 days in
advance of the annual meeting. A majority of votes shall determine the winner.
The results shall be kept secret until the award is presented."
This
says nothing about publishing the LAA ballot on the website. Please ensure that
the ballot is not posted there.
Thank
you for your time.

Betsy, I already talked to Mera
about how we don’t post the LAA candidate package to the website. This has been
taken care of already. It is not being posted to the website because I know how
this works.

Thank you for confirming. I only have the email
to go on, otherwise.

Jacalyn, thanks for stepping up and fixing
that! I'm just catching up online after a week working at CES for IBM

I mean there wasn’t anything to fix. She texted
me that she sent me the ballot and I texted her back. Took like 2.5
seconds of my life. There was really zero reason to panic just because
something got sent to my email. Especially not something sent to MY email.
Everyone already knows that it’s gonna languish in
dust bunnies. If it’s not a discount code for a computer to my school email,
I’m not looking at it. Lol

Yep. I made a mistake. Apologies. I’ll be in
my bunk.

@Mera Rose eh it’s a way to stir up
manufactured drama. Just ignore it. I’ve spent three weeks out of this slack
team because it was all my over 1k member slack team putting on an event that
had a population of about 25k people and somehow there was no drama and only
functionality. It was lovely. People make mistakes. Is what it is. We had
handled this and didn’t see a need to get the entire board/membership involved,
but whatever others wanna do. I’m getting back to the
next event on my plate because I have 36 hours until I leave. January and
February are my event heavy months.
You don’t have anything to apologize for.

Thanks Lady. Truly.

I meant my thanks, too. It's working together
that we get the good things done. I had an executive assistant when I was
Worldcon chair whose job was in large part to make sure mistakes got caught
before anything untoward happened. I appreciate your diligence!
