Lifetime Achievement Award nominations are now closed as of 3/3/2008.

The ICG is accepting nominations for the 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award. The LAA, the highest honor the ICG pays to costumers, recognizes “a body of achievement in the costuming art and service to the costuming community.” Candidates for the award:

  • Shall have been active in the costuming community for at least 10 years.
  • Shall have achieved significant recognition for their costuming skills, which may be in the form of, but not restricted to, competitive awards, professional accomplishments, teaching of skills, and/or media recognition.
  • Shall have made significant contributions in service to the costuming community.

Nominations can be made by any ICG member and are due by the end of February. Send your nominations to the President at icg-president@costume.org. For additional information and a display of past winners, go to the Lifetime Achievement Award Page (link at left).
