4/17/2015 -- ICG President Philip Gust announced that the ICG board has approved the application to form a "Props and Costume FX" Special Interest Group (SIG), with a focus on prop making and costuming special effects. See the announcement in the ICG-D Yahoo Group.

4/15/2015 -- ICG President Philip Gust announced that the ICG board has approved the application of the Time Travelers Costume Guild in the Metro Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, WA area as the ICG's newest chapter See the announcement in the ICG-D Yahoo Group.

4/9/2015 -- ICG President Philip Gust announced that the 2015 annual ICG board and members meetings will take place on Friday, May 15th at Costume-Con 33 from 9am to 12pm, and urged members who will not be attending to complete a proxy form and send it with someone who will be. 10/16/2014 -- ICG President Philip Gust announced that the ICG Board has confirmed Vicky Young Assarattanakul as editor of the International Costumer newsletter. See the announcement in the ICG-D Yahoo Group.

"Any competition that draws both entrants and audience from outside the host country can be considered an international competition. The ICG has voted to recognize the competitions at WorldCon, at Costume-Con and at Anime North.
